Acceptance of Advertising on the Village Website

Middleton Tyas Village Website is funded by advertising income and, if there is a shortfall, by the precept - that is to say parishioners’ money. One of the main aims of the website is to promote the village. It would therefore be inappropriate to accept advertising from non-village businesses which are in competition with local enterprises. It has been decided by the Parish Council that advertising will only be sought or accepted from non-village concerns which are not in direct competition with a known local business.
